Senior Institutional Client Onboarding Executive

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Institutional Client Onboarding Executive to join a leading international fintech organisation in Cyprus. You will be responsible for delivering a seamless onboarding experience for institutional and corporate clients while upholding the highest regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end onboarding lifecycle for corporate, institutional and high‑value clients across multiple jurisdictions.
• Conduct comprehensive KYC, KYB, AML and Enhanced Due Diligence reviews on complex ownership structures, including funds, trusts and multinational entities.
• Analyse ownership, source of wealth and source of funds documentation in line with FCA, MiFID, AMLD and other international regulations.
• Identify and escalate high‑risk or complex cases to the Compliance team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, acting as their primary point of contact throughout onboarding.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Client Success and Compliance teams to ensure a smooth client journey.
• Mentor junior onboarding team members and share best practices.
• Maintain audit‑ready client records and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Solid experience in Institutional Client Onboarding, KYC, AML or Financial Crime within a regulated financial services environment.
• Proven ability to conduct Enhanced Due Diligence on complex corporate structures across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of international regulatory frameworks such as FCA, MiFID, AMLD.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
