Senior Client C++ Framework Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Client C++ Framework Developer to join the framework team behind Total Battle, an MMO 4X strategy game with millions of active players. You will help build a reliable, fast, and high‑quality foundation that powers all game features across mobile and web platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the core client framework, including LibRocket integration and cross‑platform support.
• Build tooling for artists, animators, and UI/UX specialists, and improve the build pipeline, CI, and test infrastructure.
• Enhance app initialization, startup performance, and debug observability.
• Design and implement extensible asset loaders, reduce nullptr risks, and increase code testability.
• Contribute to the long‑term vision of a single codebase across all platforms.

Required profile

• Self‑directed problem solver who digs to the root cause before proposing solutions.
• Product‑mindset focused on MVP delivery, iteration, and metric‑driven validation.
• Strong system designer who creates clean, flexible, future‑proof APIs.
• Proactive communicator in Russian for daily team interaction and in technical English for documentation and cross‑team discussions.

Required skills

• 3+ years of C++ (C++17+) development in client applications.
• Experience with C# and Unity, or Cocos2d‑x.
• Familiarity with cross‑platform build systems such as CMake and CI pipelines.
• Proficiency in technical English for reading docs, writing RFCs, and async collaboration.
