Senior Auditor – Audit Department

About the role

KPMG is seeking a motivated Senior Auditor to join its Audit Department in Nicosia. You will lead audit engagements of varying size and complexity, receive on‑the‑job coaching, and develop the competencies needed to become an effective manager.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audit engagements for a diverse client portfolio.
• Prepare work in line with professional standards and review client financial statements.
• Report findings and recommendations to senior staff.
• Review tax computations and tax returns.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members.

Required profile

• University degree with a 2:1 grade or equivalent.
• Currently pursuing a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA).
• Minimum of 1 year audit experience.
• Strong business awareness, high motivation, and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of IFRS.
• Good knowledge of ISA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
