Product Owner – Mobile & Web Platforms

About the role

IC Markets is looking for a Product Owner to lead the development and continuous improvement of its trader‑facing mobile and web platforms. You will shape the roadmap, translate strategy into actionable backlog items, and ensure a seamless trading experience across devices.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the product roadmap and backlog for mobile and web trading platforms.
• Translate product strategy and client needs into clear epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, UX/UI, Compliance and Trading teams to deliver high‑quality features.
• Drive enhancements for market watch, charts, order placement, execution, account information and trading notifications.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis, track product KPIs and incorporate trader feedback into prioritisation.
• Maintain product documentation in Jira and Confluence and manage integrations with MT4/MT5, DxTrade, cTrader, ICTrade and other brokerage systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in Forex, CFDs or fintech.
• Strong practical understanding of Forex and CFD trading, order types, pricing, leverage and margin.
• Proven ability to work in Agile environments and manage complex backlogs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on knowledge of trading platforms such as MT4/MT5, DxTrade, cTrader, ICTrade.
• Experience with API integration and system interconnections.
• Proficiency in Jira and Confluence for backlog and documentation management.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM‑based tools for product research and documentation.
