On‑Site Civil Engineer – Construction Project

About the role

Are you a dynamic Civil Engineer looking to leave your mark on one of Cyprus’s most ambitious construction projects? The Island Private School is launching a €100 M state‑of‑the‑art campus in Limassol and seeks an experienced, detail‑oriented Site Engineer to supervise on‑site works, ensure quality, safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Site Supervision – oversee daily works to meet timeframes, budgets and quality standards.
• Compliance & Safety – enforce permits, public authority guidelines and H&S plans.
• Technical Analysis – interpret drawings, survey reports and technical documents.
• Progress Tracking – monitor programme, report milestones and risks.
• Resource Management – control materials, equipment and workforce efficiency.
• Quality Assurance – verify materials and conduct site testing.
• Risk Mitigation – identify potential delays or cost overruns and update the risk register.
• Stakeholder Coordination – liaise with Project Manager, main contractor, quantity surveyors and consultants.
• Financial Verification – review monthly evaluations and progress claims.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years experience as a Site Engineer or similar construction role.
• Proven ability to supervise structural site works and manage resources.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, regulations and QA/QC processes.
• Excellent analytical mindset, proactive risk management and communication skills.
