NOC Engineer

About the role

CLOUDLAYER8 LTD is seeking a full‑time NOC Engineer to monitor and support its network infrastructure from the Network Operations Center in Limassol.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the company’s networks and services using NOC tools and systems.
• Maintain and execute standard operating procedures.
• Analyze alarms and trouble indicators, escalating issues as needed.
• Manage tickets and prioritize based on urgency.
• Perform first‑level troubleshooting and resolve incidents quickly.
• Carry out data‑center tasks such as racking and cabling.
• Follow security policies and procedures.

Required profile

• University or Associate Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows.
• Fluency in Greek and English (written & spoken).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Availability to work in a 24/7 shift rotation.

Required skills

• Good understanding and experience with Linux/Unix system administration.
• Good understanding of DNS concepts.
