International Site Engineer – Installation & Commissioning

About the role

We are seeking an International Site Engineer – Installation & Commissioning to lead the preparation, coordination and execution of complex technical and industrial system deployments on international projects. The role combines hands‑on installation work with supervision of multidisciplinary teams, acting as the main interface between NIM, the customer, subcontractors and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate detailed installation plans, schedules, resources and site requirements.
• Organise and supervise installation teams, subcontractors and field service engineers on site.
• Review technical documentation, perform site surveys and assess readiness, including civil, mechanical and electrical aspects.
• Supervise equipment installation, integration, testing and commissioning, and participate directly when needed.
• Coordinate interfaces among NIM, customers, subcontractors and suppliers, and manage technical issues to keep the project on schedule.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards, and conduct safety inspections.
• Support local procurement, logistics, permits and site access, and lead regular coordination meetings.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, manage punch‑list items and support project close‑out and handover.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Automation, Civil or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial equipment installation, commissioning or field service.
• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Strong understanding of site safety, quality control and project execution requirements.
• Professional level English; additional languages such as French are a plus.
