Credit Risk Manager

About the role

Breezy, the leading trade‑in and device refurbishment company in Central and Eastern Europe, is seeking an experienced Credit Risk Manager to join its Cyprus team. You will develop and enforce credit risk policies, assess customer creditworthiness, and oversee accounts receivable to protect the business from bad debt while supporting growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain credit risk policies and procedures.
• Assess and approve customer credit limits, payment terms and risk ratings.
• Conduct financial analysis of new and existing customers, reviewing statements, credit reports and market data.
• Monitor credit exposure, recommend mitigation actions and provision for doubtful debts.
• Oversee receivable portfolios, track overdue balances, DSO, aging reports and bad‑debt trends.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables and resolve complex collection cases.
• Manage customer onboarding from a credit risk perspective, completing KYC, AML and due‑diligence requirements.
• Prepare regular credit risk and receivables reports, track KPIs and identify risk trends.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Legal and Operations to balance commercial growth with acceptable risk levels.

Required profile

• Proven experience in credit risk management or a similar finance role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate financial statements and credit data.
• Knowledge of KYC, AML and customer due‑diligence processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
