Chief Accountant & Financial Manager

About the role

We are seeking a senior finance professional to lead accounting and financial management for a Cyprus public limited, non‑licensed issuing company. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will combine high‑level financial control with strategic oversight across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll and prepare IFRS‑compliant financial statements.
• Lead budgeting, variance analysis, multi‑year forecasting and corporate liquidity management.
• Ensure compliance with Cyprus tax regulations, VAT, VIES and corporate transparency laws.
• Act as primary contact for statutory audits and coordinate with Deloitte and Group auditors.
• Design and maintain internal control systems, treasury policy, cash‑management tooling and FX/money‑market transactions.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA) with at least 5 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably in an investment or issuing environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Cyprus Companies Law (Cap. 113) and local tax compliance.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑currency cash, treasury operations and risk controls.
