Business/System Analyst – Trading Platforms

About the role

IC Markets is seeking a Business/System Analyst to lead trading platform integrations, bridging business stakeholders and development teams. You will shape requirements for MT4, MT5, cTrader and the in‑house platform, ensuring seamless interaction with the broker ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and elicit business and system requirements for trading platform integrations (MT4, MT5, cTrader, in‑house platform).
• Document current (AS‑IS) processes, design future (TO‑BE) flows, and create data‑mapping diagrams.
• Conduct workshops and interviews with product owners, vendors, and other squads to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Participate in system testing, UAT and validation to ensure data accuracy, stability and compliance.
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders, vendors and development teams, clarifying requirements and supporting estimation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business/System Analyst working on trading platform integrations or similar middleware services.
• Hands‑on experience with MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and cTrader platforms.
• Strong ability to produce clear user stories, acceptance criteria and use cases.
• Excellent analytical, documentation and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and facilitation skills for non‑technical stakeholders.
