AML Compliance Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an AML Compliance Assistant to join our team in Limassol, Cyprus. The role is full‑time and on‑site, supporting the Anti‑Money Laundering function within a financial services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse daily financial transactions to detect potential money‑laundering activity.
• Conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) during client onboarding.
• Identify and document suspicious activity patterns and prepare reports for senior compliance staff.
• Communicate findings clearly to internal stakeholders and, when required, to clients.
• Maintain accurate records of investigative work in line with AML policies.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in financial crime prevention and AML regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
