Technical UI Designer

About the role

HyperHug is seeking a skilled Technical UI Designer to create polished, intuitive interfaces for its upcoming mobile multiplayer shooter, Oxide: Survival Island. You will translate design concepts into responsive, production‑ready UI that works flawlessly across a range of mobile devices.

Key responsibilities

• Implement core and meta‑game interfaces in Unity, ensuring correct adaptation to various resolutions and aspect ratios.
• Build and maintain a scalable UI architecture, including window structures, reusable components, UI kits, and prefabs.
• Create UI animations using DOTween, Timeline, and custom solutions.
• Set up and optimise UI effects with Unity’s Particle System.
• Optimise UI performance for mobile (draw calls, batching, Canvas setup, texture atlases, import settings).
• Develop UI materials via Shader Graph and custom material setups.
• Refactor legacy UI, produce documentation, and write simple C# scripts when needed.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in a similar UI design role.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Unity UI and mobile performance optimisation.
• Proficiency with AI tools to streamline UI workflows.
• Ability to work independently, propose practical solutions, and maintain high attention to detail.
• English at B1+ level and Russian at C1 level.
