Software Engineer (Golang)

About the role

We are looking for a senior Software Engineer with strong Go expertise to join our team building a global Traffic Management System. You will work on the core API that configures routing across thousands of edge locations and on the agents that apply those configurations on edge nodes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain the Traffic Management System API written in Go.
• Build and extend BGP and Anycast routing capabilities, including configuration rendering, peer‑group, route‑map support and prefix filtering.
• Develop the edge‑node agent that renders and applies routing configuration, ensuring desired state is achieved.
• Implement automated failover and high‑availability mechanisms, such as non‑stop maintenance mode and health‑aware traffic off‑loading.
• Increase reliability through comprehensive test coverage, metrics, and observability across the routing pipeline.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise performance, resilience and scalability.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on development with Go.
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver production‑grade services.
