Senior QA Engineer with Automation

About the role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with Automation to join our engineering team. The role focuses on strong testing fundamentals, solid software design, and applying automation where it adds real value, while initially handling manual testing of complex web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform UI and API testing of complex integrated web applications.
• Develop and refine test plans.
• Write and maintain automated tests, primarily using Cypress.
• Collaborate closely with developers in an Agile environment.
• Track and manage test cases using JIRA, TestRail, and Qmetry.
• Identify manual testing processes that can be automated for reliability and maintainability.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as a Manual QA at a senior level.
• Hands‑on experience with QA automation (writing/maintaining UI or API tests).
• Automation‑oriented mindset with comfort in programming concepts and logical problem‑solving.
• Understanding of HTTP, HTML, AJAX, JSON, REST APIs and client‑server architecture.
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Ability to communicate in Russian or Ukrainian.
