Senior ML Engineer / ML Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer or ML Lead to join a small, elite team building ML‑driven trading strategies for cryptocurrency markets. The role offers direct exposure to real PnL, high autonomy, and the chance to shape a production‑ready system that is already delivering strong results.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise the ML architecture that powers our trading strategies.
• Drive the full research cycle: generate hypotheses, implement them in production, and monitor real‑world performance and profitability.
• Refine existing models to improve effectiveness and profitability.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in data pipelines and execution pathways.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior ML Engineer or ML Lead with a track record of profitable ML models or trading strategies.
• Strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and probability theory.
• Ability to work in high‑uncertainty environments, formulating and validating hypotheses independently.
• Experience writing high‑performance, production‑ready code.
