M&A Collaboration & Security Platforms Engineer

About the role

Payward is seeking a senior engineer to own and evolve its productivity and collaboration stack across a growing portfolio of brands. The focus is on integrating the collaboration platforms of newly acquired companies into a unified, secure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end M&A integration of Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom and related services, including scoping, planning, migration and post‑migration validation.
• Assess acquired‑company collaboration stacks for security, compliance and configuration gaps, and define remediation plans.
• Rationalize overlapping tools, decide on migrations, sunsetting or retention, and execute the chosen strategy.
• Develop repeatable playbooks, automation scripts and tooling to accelerate future integrations.
• Own architecture, governance, licensing and day‑to‑day operations of Google Workspace, Slack and Zoom at multi‑entity scale.
• Build and maintain integrations with the broader identity and security ecosystem (Okta, Global Relay, eDiscovery, archiving platforms).
• Define cross‑brand platform governance standards and automate compliance enforcement.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, IT, Security, Corporate Development and HRIS/IAM teams to ensure smooth onboarding and off‑boarding.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale collaboration platforms in a corporate environment.
• Hands‑on experience with M&A integration projects, including data migration and security compliance.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate technical details to non‑technical stakeholders.
