Junior IT Support Technician

About the role

The Junior IT Support Technician will provide foundational technical assistance to users across the Group’s locations in Nicosia. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, as well as supporting core business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support services to users and shops in Nicosia.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user problems such as login errors, printer issues, Outlook, and Wi‑Fi.
• Run and handle core business applications including ERP, POS, and mobile sales platforms.
• Maintain IT equipment through cleaning, updates, and replacements.
• Set up and configure new computers, mobile devices, Android handheld terminals, and printers.
• Monitor network connectivity and report outages or irregularities.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, and email setup (Microsoft Outlook/Office).

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience building and supporting Windows desktops (Windows 10/11).
• Ability to translate technical language for non‑technical audiences.
• Analytical and methodical approach to fault diagnosis.

Required skills

• Hardware and generic software troubleshooting.
• Microsoft SQL Server.
• Microsoft Office suite and Outlook.
• Microsoft Windows Server.
• Virtualization technologies (preferably VMware ESXi).
• Networking fundamentals.
• ERP and POS systems.
• Android handheld terminal configuration.
