Elevator Field Tester

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Elevator Field Tester to join our team in Larnaca. In this field‑based position you will be responsible for testing and commissioning elevators on‑site, ensuring they meet all safety, technical and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site testing and commissioning of elevators, verifying compliance with EN81, the Lift Directive and local standards.
• Collaborate with installation teams, supervisors and project managers to confirm elevator readiness.
• Carry out electrical safety checks and mechanical performance tests, record measurements and report findings.
• Prepare final inspection reports, snagging lists and support handover to the client.
• Maintain a safe work environment for site personnel and the public during all testing activities.
• Participate in process reviews and continuous‑improvement discussions.

Required profile

• Practical, detail‑oriented mindset with a strong focus on safety.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse on‑site roles.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to job sites.
• Basic computer literacy for documentation and reporting.
• Previous experience in elevator testing, commissioning or installation is advantageous but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Knowledge of EN81 standards.
• Familiarity with the Lift Directive.
