Senior Consultant – Strategy and Transactions

About the role

EY Parthenon in Cyprus is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Strategy and Transactions (SaT) team. The role involves advising clients on M&A, restructuring, valuations and related transaction services, helping them make informed strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client businesses, identify strengths and weaknesses, and document findings.
• Assess transaction drivers and deliver insights, factual conclusions and advice.
• Prepare and review deliverables such as written reports, presentations and client discussions.
• Gather, verify and assess information to formulate views.
• Assist in proposal preparation for prospective clients.
• Develop internal and external networks and collaborate with SaT team members and other EY services.
• Take responsibility for personal learning and development and coach junior team members.

Required profile

• Qualified or progressing towards ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent (e.g., MBA) – considered an advantage.
• Strong academic record in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics.
• Advanced business writing and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines and strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.

• Data analytics using analytics tools or programming languages.
