Senior Actuarial Consultant / Manager – Non‑life Insurance

About the role

EY is expanding its non‑life insurance actuarial team and seeks an experienced actuarial professional to join as a Senior Consultant or Manager. You will work on traditional actuarial tasks such as reserving, pricing and capital modelling while also contributing to analytics, business steering and transformation projects across the local and European markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery and reporting for actuarial projects, managing teams of consultants.
• Engage with client contacts, set expectations on scope, timelines and costs.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior executives and board members.
• Collaborate on cross‑functional projects as a subject‑matter expert.
• Develop intellectual property to support business development and respond to client proposals.

Required profile

• Degree in a quantitative discipline and IFoA (or equivalent) qualification, qualified or part‑qualified.
• Minimum two years of experience in claims reserving, Solvency II technical provisions, internal model validation, capital modelling or IFRS 17 implementation.
• Proven ability to manage project teams and foster an inclusive, high‑performing environment.
• Strong commercial mindset and problem‑solving skills.
