Control & Reporting Analyst

About the role

The Control & Reporting Analyst is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in line with US GAAP, IFRS, and corporate policies. The role works closely with Corporate Finance, Tax, Treasury, Audit and cross‑functional teams to ensure data integrity and support strategic finance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad‑hoc financial reports in compliance with US GAAP, IFRS and internal policies.
• Execute balance‑sheet, intercompany, retained‑earnings, loan and fixed‑asset reconciliations.
• Own and coordinate HFM submissions for P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and Fixed Assets.
• Produce variance analysis, expense reviews and management reporting.
• Manage intercompany cross‑charging, billing and monthly accruals.
• Support statutory statement preparation and external audit requirements.
• Handle tax reporting activities, including deferred tax, FAS109 and cash taxes.
• Perform lease accounting and ensure compliance with IFRS and US GAAP.
• Develop operating cash‑flow forecasts and balance‑sheet reviews for management.
• Act as Control Owner for key reporting processes, ensuring SOX and internal‑control compliance.
• Identify reporting risks, accounting issues and drive automation and standardisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA) is a strong advantage.
• Up to 5 years of experience in financial reporting, control or accounting within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS reporting standards.
