Ubuntu/Linux User for AI Data Training (Remote Contractor)

About the role

We are seeking individuals who regularly use Ubuntu/Linux to support AI data training projects. The position is fully remote, paid hourly, and focuses on completing structured, detail‑oriented tasks independently.

Key responsibilities

• Follow detailed written guidelines and apply them carefully.
• Install and use required applications on an Ubuntu/Linux computer.
• Record actions and verify work for mistakes before submission.
• Identify inconsistencies, unclear instructions, or technical issues when they arise.
• Maintain focus during repetitive or detail‑heavy tasks.
• Complete assigned work within the agreed weekly availability (approximately 15 hours).
• Communicate clearly with the project team when support is needed.

Required profile

• Own a personal computer running Ubuntu/Linux.
• Comfortable installing required apps, tools, and project software independently.
• Tech‑savvy, reliable, and able to follow instructions precisely.
• Patient, concentrated, and detail‑oriented.
• Available for roughly 15 hours per week.
• Basic computer literacy and confidence using browser‑based tools.
• Student, junior candidate, or Linux enthusiast welcomed.
