Solution Architect - SAP Basis & Platform Architecture

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis System Architect to lead the design, transformation, and operational excellence of our SAP landscapes. The role focuses on creating scalable, secure, and cloud‑ready architectures for SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform, and hybrid environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define SAP platform architecture standards, governance, and sizing strategies.
• Design SAP S/4HANA landscapes for on‑premise, private cloud, and public cloud deployments.
• Lead RISE with SAP and cloud migration programs, including Azure, AWS, and GCP deployments.
• Architect high‑availability, disaster‑recovery, and performance solutions.
• Establish transport management, landscape, and monitoring standards using SAP Cloud ALM.
• Drive SAP Basis modernization, Clean Core compliance, and automation of provisioning and operations.
• Collaborate with security teams on SAP security architecture, identity management, and SSO.
• Provide technical leadership during upgrades, migrations, and conversions.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in SAP platform and Basis administration.
• Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA architecture, SAP NetWeaver, and SAP HANA.
• Proven track record with SAP Landscape Management, SAP Cloud ALM, and SAP Solution Manager.
• Hands‑on experience with RISE with SAP, SAP Private Cloud Edition, and SAP Focused Run.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Understanding of SAP security concepts, SNC/TLS, certificates, and authorizations.
• Experience in high‑availability, disaster‑recovery, performance engineering, and DevOps automation.
• Upper‑intermediate English (B2) or higher.
