Senior SAP BTP Architect

About the role

EPAM is seeking a Senior SAP BTP Architect to join its Cyprus team in a hybrid working mode. You will lead the design, governance, and delivery of enterprise‑grade SAP Business Technology Platform solutions that enable digital transformation for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP BTP services, architecture standards, and governance frameworks.
• Develop enterprise BTP reference architecture, multi‑subaccount and global account models.
• Define clean‑core, hybrid SAP/non‑SAP integration patterns and event‑driven, API‑first solutions.
• Lead SAP Integration Suite architecture and API management strategy.
• Establish CI/CD and DevSecOps operating models, ensuring compliance and security.
• Enable AI and Generative AI capabilities on SAP BTP.
• Drive monitoring, observability, and integration governance practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to execute technical roadmaps.

Required profile

• 8+ years of SAP architecture experience with deep SAP BTP expertise.
• Proven knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, SAP Build tools, HANA Cloud, and Event Mesh.
• Strong programming background in CAP, CDS, Node.js, Java, and ABAP Cloud.
• Experience with container platforms (Cloud Foundry, Kyma, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Hands‑on CI/CD design using GitHub or Azure DevOps.
• In‑depth understanding of SAP security (IAS, IPS, XSUAA, OAuth2).
