PSP Onboarding Manager

About the role

The PSP Onboarding Manager will lead the identification, evaluation, testing and onboarding of top‑tier payment providers for new and existing markets. Working remotely from anywhere in Europe, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Payments and internal product teams to optimise payment costs, conversion rates and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, demo and onboard payment service providers (PSPs) for market entry and optimisation.
• Maintain day‑to‑day relationships with PSPs and risk‑solution providers, handling contract reviews and fee renegotiations.
• Partner with product teams to analyse payment costs versus performance and track supplier incidents.
• Serve as the primary internal contact for supplier details, fee structures and technical contacts.
• Conduct continuous operational, financial and compliance risk analyses on all supplier setups.
• Monitor system queues, ensure no outstanding tasks, and investigate new requests.
• Stay informed on competitor offerings, regulatory changes and emerging payment technologies such as crypto, open banking and mobile payments.
• Leverage AI tools like Claude to streamline documentation upload and contract synthesis.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a high‑risk industry (e.g., iGaming or Forex) with a strong network in offshore markets.
• Proven ability to manage high‑volume onboarding pipelines across multiple brands.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Hands‑on experience with due‑diligence documentation, contract vetting and pricing optimisation.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel periodically to Malta and attend industry conferences.
