Onboard Courier Operations Specialist – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Operations Specialist to manage our onboard courier (OBC) shipments remotely. You will work within a 24/7 shift pattern, ensuring urgent hand‑carry items are delivered worldwide with precision and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee ongoing OBC shipments across day or evening shifts in your timezone.
• Develop customized OBC solutions to meet urgent customer needs.
• Prepare and manage quotes, budgets, flight routing, road transport, and accommodation.
• Communicate directly with couriers via WhatsApp and supervise door‑to‑door transportation.
• Handle customer and partner inquiries, maintaining proactive communication.
• Research, book, and modify flight reservations using partner ticketing systems.
• Liaise with customs brokers, prepare documentation, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Optionally support the sales team by cultivating customer relationships and acquiring new business via CRM.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, emotionally mature, and supportive of colleagues.
• Open to beginners who are smart, dependable, and eager to learn.
