Network Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Network Automation Engineer to join our team, focusing on automation, DevOps practices, and software development while leveraging solid networking fundamentals. You will help improve infrastructure reliability and scalability through automation and integration of systems.

Key responsibilities

• Write and maintain software to solve complex network management and monitoring tasks, including deploying and auditing device configurations.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to incorporate network automation solutions into deployment pipelines.
• Drive automation at all stages of software development, release, and operations.
• Research and apply emerging network automation trends to improve team efficiency.
• Support Linux‑based environments and containerized applications such as NMS, telemetry, flowspec, routing controllers, syslog, tacacs, and netflow services.

Required profile

• Background in networking (TCP/IP, IP routing protocols, BGP, OSPF).
• Experience with Unix‑based systems administration.
• Hands‑on experience with network vendor devices (Arista, Cisco, Juniper, Nokia) and their automation interfaces.
• Proven ability to develop systems using Python.

Required skills

• Python programming and scripting.
• Docker containerization.
• Monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, ClickHouse.
• APIs, JSON, YAML.
• Knowledge of network protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF.
• Familiarity with Python frameworks (Django, DRF, FastAPI) and React for internal tools.
• Understanding of advanced networking concepts like Flowspec, Telemetry, gNMI.
• Programming experience with Go.
