Linux Administrator – Ops Team

About the role

We are looking for a Linux Administrator to join our Ops team, supporting the infrastructure behind our SaaS trading platform. The role combines system administration, automation and close collaboration with development teams to keep production services stable and scalable.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Ubuntu Linux servers across development and production environments.
• Manage PostgreSQL and Greenplum databases, including performance troubleshooting.
• Support data services such as KeyDB, ClickHouse and Kafka.
• Configure and maintain services like Nginx, Jenkins, GitLab CI, DataHub, Allure and Airflow.
• Automate tasks with Ansible and scripts written in Python or Bash.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes and Helm.
• Monitor systems with Prometheus and Grafana, respond to incidents and improve reliability.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI and Jenkins.
• Work with OpenStack and AWS infrastructure and coordinate hardware provisioning.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience administering Linux servers in production.
• Strong knowledge of Linux internals, networking and system services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL (or Greenplum) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in Ansible automation and scripting in Python or Bash.
• Fluent Russian (C2) for team communication and English (B1+) for technical documentation.
