FAAS Senior Advisor / Manager

About the role

EY is looking for a Senior Advisor / Assistant Manager to join its Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team in Nicosia or Limassol. The role will support a diverse client base across industries, helping them navigate complex accounting, reporting and sustainability challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advisory on IFRS accounting standards, complex accounting matters and financial statement disclosures.
• Support corporate reporting processes, governance and presentation of financial and non‑financial information.
• Deliver sustainability and ESG reporting services, including CSRD/ESRS implementation and related controls.
• Assist audit teams with technical accounting consultations and documentation of management judgments.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives, improving reporting processes, data quality and leveraging technology and AI solutions.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS Accounting Standards.
• Experience with ESG and sustainability reporting frameworks.
• Familiarity with CSRD/ESRS implementation requirements.
• Understanding of finance transformation, data quality and control concepts.
• Ability to apply AI and technology‑enabled solutions in finance processes.
