AI Engineer

About the role

Quadcode is seeking an AI Engineer to join its AI Platform team. You will work on generative AI pipelines that power fintech products, handling financial and trading data. The position is hybrid, based in our Limassol office, and offers immediate ownership of production LLM systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain LLM‑powered features and pipelines for generative AI products.
• Develop agentic systems and multi‑agent workflows, integrating Model Context Protocol (MCP) tooling.
• Write production‑grade backend Python services on top of OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, or on‑premise LLM APIs.
• Create and iterate prompt‑engineering and prompt‑evaluation pipelines, including structured output validation.
• Transform prototypes into reliable, maintainable production services.
• Monitor LLM cost, latency, and reliability, balancing trade‑offs across pipelines.
• Collaborate with senior AI Platform engineers on architecture, code reviews, and technical direction.

Required profile

• 2–4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands‑on production experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI) or on‑premise models.
• Experience building multi‑agent systems or workflows using MCP servers.
• Strong Python skills and solid fundamentals in REST APIs, SQL, Docker, Git, and concurrency.
• Ability to take prototypes to production‑ready services.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
