Transaction/Trade Reporting Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Transaction/Trade Reporting Specialist to join our fast‑growing fintech team. In this role you will ensure that all trade and transaction reports are accurate, timely, and compliant with the regulatory frameworks of MAS, FSCA, and IIROC/CSA. You will work closely with engineering, compliance, and external regulators to continuously improve reporting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily trade and transaction reporting under MAS, FSCA, and IIROC/CSA frameworks.
• Maintain and enhance Capital.com’s reporting processes to guarantee data accuracy and timely submission.
• Investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Liaise with local regulators, Approved Reporting Mechanisms (ARMs), and trade repositories as required.
• Monitor regulatory updates and align systems and processes with evolving jurisdictional requirements.
• Support regulatory audits, inspections, and internal reviews.
• Partner with engineering teams to automate and optimise reporting workflows.
• Prepare regular management information reports on reporting status, KPIs, and error rates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.
• 3‑5+ years of experience in regulatory or transaction reporting within a financial institution, broker or fintech.
• Proven experience with MAS, FSCA and Canadian trade reporting frameworks; knowledge of MiFID II, EMIR or ASIC is a plus.
• Strong understanding of derivatives and CFD products.
• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data handling.
• SQL for querying databases.
• Python for scripting and automation (optional but preferred).
